What Vision 2040 aims for
Launched in 2021, Oman Vision 2040 sets out to reduce dependence on hydrocarbons, grow the private sector, attract foreign investment, develop national talent and improve government efficiency. Reforms already delivered include the Foreign Capital Investment Law, digital government services, the consolidation of economic zones under OPAZ, and fiscal reforms such as VAT.
