Privacy policy

This policy explains how MakeMyCompany ("we", "us") handles personal data collected through this website. We process personal data in line with Oman's Personal Data Protection Law (Royal Decree 6/2022) and its executive regulations.

Data we collect

• Enquiry and consultation forms: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, company name, intended activity and your message
• Cost calculator: your selections and the contact details you provide to receive an estimate
• Setup assistant: the questions you type, which are processed to generate answers
• Technical data: device and browser information, pages visited and approximate location, through server logs and, if you consent, analytics
• Client portal users: account details and documents you upload for your engagement

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare quotes
• To deliver services you engage us for
• To keep records required by law
• With your consent, to send relevant updates (you can opt out at any time)
• To secure and improve the website

We do not sell personal data.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the website and our systems: hosting, database and form storage (including Supabase), email and messaging, and an AI service (Google Gemini) that powers the setup assistant. They process data only on our instructions. If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we also load the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure enquiries and the reach of our advertising; it is not loaded if you decline. Some providers process data outside Oman. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by law.

Retention

Enquiries that don't become engagements are kept for up to 24 months. Client records are kept for the periods required by commercial, tax and anti-money-laundering laws.

Your rights

Subject to the law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, withdraw consent, and object to certain processing. Contact us using the details on our contact page. You may also complain to the competent authority in Oman.
